NEW YEAR, FRESH START

"New year, New me." -All of ya'll, every year Well, since we're still in December and on the subject of gifts, let's talk about the gift of a FRESH START . Nah, I'm not talking about you calling your ex back and acting like you weren't trash for the bulk of the year. You need to get left in 2018. I'm talking about truly stepping back, reflecting and taking action in new ways. Now, I know a lot of people roll their eyes when folks start talking about the things that they want to do differently in the new year, how they about to be skinny and how they not bringing all that negative energy into this new chapter. Not to mention the gifts... which none of ya'll are getting this year. Look man, I'm in the middle of building a brand, paying bills and turning 30 in 2019. Ya'll better take these blogs and this smile and get somewhere and sit down. Besides, have you even used the gifts that you got years ago? Nah, I'm not talking about that waffle maker your mama 'nem got you in 2011. I'm talking about the GIFTS that you were already born with. Your PURPOSE for being here in the first place. Photo: Sierra Campbell The year was 2006. I was finishing up my junior year of high school and was still uncertain and very insecure about attending college. However, my parents made it very clear that I did not have a choice on whether or not I went to college. I was going and
