THAT`S SO ANNOYING

I`m pretty much an easy going lady. I don`t get upset quickly and even if I do, there`s some strong method to my madness. But do you know one thing that makes me upset? Pisses me off? Grinds my gears? Makes me wanna to choke a granny? (Not my granny, she kinda strong). Its when people spell or pronounce my name wrong when it`s right in front of their face!

Emails, Facebook, Instagram, Classrooms, it happens to me everywhere! I thought my mom made it simple for ya`ll by giving me a 2 syllable name. Come on everybody say it with me, "Brit-ney". Not "Brittany". Not "Brittney". Not "Brittnee". Those are all different types of people.

I`d like to think of "Brittany" as my alter ego. She only comes out when I`m hungry, tired, or at church ready to go and my mama won`t stop talking to her friends. Ya`ll don`t want to meet her.

So, if your having a brain freeze, an off day, or just know damn well you never pay attention to the obvious, simply say, type or write "Brit". Thanks in advance!

The Good Girl

"Wait, am I going to get in trouble if I do that?" I`ve always been that "by the book" type of person. If I didn`t get permission to do it, it`s not happening. Yep, you guessed it, my friends hated me in high school. I was the one with the curfew at midnight. "You don't have kids yet? That`s rare." I`m 26, never been married, engaged, or even close, why is that so rare? In my opinion, I`m just getting started with my own life. Okay maybe not JUST getting started but I`m still in my prime. Like, I`m working on myself. Look, I just don't have the money for any extra people, okay?
